There has been a cottage on this spot for generations but it was only in 1979 that this beautiful family home was converted into not big hotel.
Andrea and David Levene bought the inn in 1986 and since then have made a lot of additions, while maintaining its appeal as a latest and majestic family run hotel to have as your base whilst stay in the south of England.
The refined, award-winning Truffles Restaurant (2 AA Rosette - 2008) indeed is a treat to have dinner in.
It's a pleasing setting in relaxing vicinity offering wonderful present-day European cuisine and an immense list of graceful wines.
Lighter meals able to be delighted in Muffins Brasserie.

By Car - From the A31, come off at the roundabout signposted B3004 Alton, Holybourne, Bordon. - The hotel able to be found 300 yards on the left. From the M3: - Take blend four (A331) towards Farnham. - At the end, the highway joins the A31. When reaching the roundabout for Alton, follow the same signs as above. From the South: - Approach on the A31 but do not take the first exit for Alton. - Instead, turn left at the second exit at the roundabout, marked Alton, Holybourne and Bordon. - Again, the guesthouse will be on the left.
