Cooper used the cabin as a home and studio, but today it's a four-star dining place with apartments.

In the center of the English Lake District, this historic Norwegian log cabin is now a cafe and restaurant with three homely en apartment suites, all with LCD flat-screen TVs, DVD players and independent Wi-Fi. The chic and modern restaurant is offering an idle ambiance in which to enjoy luxurious food, made with tasty, fresh seasonal make from the area. There are three double suites above the restaurant. 2 tranquil have the original log beams and the third has lovely views over the fells. Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to two days before date of arrival, the 1st night will be charged. Whether cancelled later or in case of no-show, the entire price of the reservation will be charged. Kids and Extra Bed Policy: All kids are welcome. There is no holding capacity for additional beds/cots in the suite. Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the 1st night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 15 % VAT is included. Facilities charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. I-net: Wireless I-net is obtainable in the whole hotel and is free. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the suite rate. Car park: Free social car park is available on spot. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The inn reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
