This lovely Grade II listed Georgian townhouse is comfortably located in small, historic market place city of Amesbury, just off the A303, less than two miles (3. two km) from Stonehenge. Fairlawn House has a proper peaceful location from which to discover all that the area can offer. Salisbury is only 8 miles (13 km) away and the enchanting Roman town of Bath is 40 miles (65 km) from the cottage. The cottage calm holds a lot of of its beautiful original properties, including a peerless curved staircase and a rare internal wind vane.
Over the last year, the present proprietors have reconstructed the cottage to some of its original glory. The hall and brasserie district have been totally re-equipped, offering a picturesque, cozy district for visitors to unbend in and browse via the library of guidebooks and local treveller data. All suites are en apartment, with flat-screen TVs and facilities of making tea/coffee. Fairlawn is family run and the proprietors take widely-known pride in offering a vivacious and excellent service.

By Car (from London): - Take the M3, heading south-west, then combine the A303. This takes you directly into Amesbury. - From the A303, come off at the Countess Weir roundabout and head for the city center. - Go direct across the traffic lights and turn directly at the mini-roundabout. - Go to the end of Salisbury Street and turn right into High Street. - The Fairlawn is on the right-hand side, approximately two hundreds meters along, in front of the bank. By Car (from Salisbury): - Follow the Amesbury signs and turn left at the mini-roundabout into Salisbury Street. - At the end of Salisbury Street, turn right into High Street. - The Fairlawn is on the right-hand side, approximately 200 m along, in front of the bank. Important information
Disabled Access: The cottage was indigenously built in 1837 and, as a listed building, access is limited; however, we want to give one of the best facilities for all our dear guests. Please call reception desk beforehand, in order to discuss your needs.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to two days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Whether cancelled later or in case of no-show, the 1st night will be charged. Kids and Extra Bed Policy: All kids are welcome. All kids under 1 year staying free when using existing bedding. All kids under two years staying free for cots. There is no holding capacity for additional beds/cots in the suite. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. Vat and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Facilities charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet connection: Wireless internet connection is obtainable in complete hotel and is free. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the suite rate. Car parking: Free social car parking is possible at a peaceful location surrounding (reservation is not possible). Pets: Pets are not allowed.
