Before that Jose spent five years as sous cook at Rick Stein's seafood restaurant in Padstow. Menus are seasonal, and the food is present-day, with a European influence. The George Hotel is superbly located for the Lymington to Yarmouth Car Ferry Terminal. Ferries run each half an hour from April-December, January March a winter timetable operates. The crossing takes half an hour and it's possible to travel as a pedestrian.
