About Bassenthwaite Lake Station, UK

The village of Bassenthwaite is located in Cumberland in the Lake District.

Nearby Lake Bassenthwaite is owned by the National Park Authority. At 4 miles length and 3/4 miles width, it is one of the larger lakes, but at only 70 feet, also one of the shallowest.
