Travel information

Exit the m4 at fusion 18. Follow signs for Bath on the a46 for about 8 miles. Bear left at the foot of the hill for the City Centre (a46). Turn directly at the roundabout on the a46 onto the a4. Continue for about two miles, passing Safeway on your left - keep in the left hand lane once past Safeway. At the tall traffic lights, turn left off the a4 into Bathwick Street (a36) signed for Bristol and Exeter. Cross over the bridge and passed the fire station on your left. At the mini roundabout, turn right into Pulteney Road. Continue direct over the following roundabout. Turn directly at the traffic lights, using the filter lane, into North Parade; The Abbey Hotel is at the end of North Parade, in front of the traffic lights. Bath is around ten miles from the M4. The route indicated avoids the Bus Gates.

Located in the heart of Bath, at the foot of the Abbey, Roman Baths, butiques and cinema. Primarily built as a rich merchants' cottage in the 1740's, the Abbey Hotel re-opened in 1990 following a full renovation, which included returning the facade of the inn to its original splendour. Every of the 60 bedrooms has just been renowated to create a 'homely' feel. The guesthouse is situated immediately beyond Bath Abbey, a mins amble from the city center. Our award-winning Number One North Parade restaurant, has a varied carte menu which changes seasonally. Wines are sensibly priced and amenities is leisurely.
