Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Whether cancelled later or in case of no-show, the 1st night will be charged. Kids and Extra Bed Policy: All kids are welcome. All kids under two years staying free when using existing bedding. All kids under two years staying free for cots. All kids from two to 14 years are charged GBP 15. 00 per night and individual for additional beds. All older kids or groun-ups are charged GBP 30. 00 per night and individual for supplementary beds. Maximum holding capacity of additional beds/babycots in a suite is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. Vat and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Amenities charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet connection: Internet by means of modem is obtainable in the guesthouse suites and is free. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the suite rate. Car park: Free private car park is available on spot. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The guesthouse reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

• The Waterwheel Restaurant is encircled by sliding glass windows leading out onto the nice terraces.
• The terraces have lively vistas of the river and the nearby country and are nicely illuminated in the evening.
• The restaurant takes its name from the matchless working waterwheel, which is another fascinating feature.
• However, the majority significant aspect of any restaurant is the quality of the food and the facilities, and we are justifiably pleased of both in the waterwheel.
• Our carte menu is based on the principles of using quality raw materials, newly cooked and attractively awarded.
• There is a big range of dishes to pick out from, including fresh fish, grills, vegetarian items and dishes with a Mediterranean influence.
• As well as the large à la menu, there is also a 3-course fixed price carte menu, offering many choice.
• These fixed price menus propose superior good value for money, as do the personally priced dishes on the à la menu.

Travel information

From m4, leave at fusion 18, follow a46 into Bath (for 8 miles), Once on the dual carriage way staying in left hand lane, this will bring you to a roundabout where you turn left, sign posted for Batheaston, Half a mile along this highway you'll uncover a pub on the right called the waggon and horses. Turn right after pub, sign posted Bathampton tollbridge. Follow down the hill we are at the bottom on the left. From A36, Once in the suburbs of Bath you'll discover a sign saying Bathampton. Turn right after sign, sign posted to Bathampton countryside, this is Down lane. Follow to the bottom and turn right. Follow through countryside (past the pub & the church) till you arrive to the tollbridge, we are just on the other side. From the City Centre, Follow the signs for the M4 out of the town. The highway to follow is the london highway. Once at a comprehensive roundabout (where the M4 is the 1st exit (left) off of the roundabout), go direct over taking the 2nd exit which is sign posted for Batheaston. Half a mile along this highway on the right you'll uncover a pub called the waggon and horses, Take the right hand turn after the pub; sign posted Bathampton tollbridge. We are on the left, just before the tollbridge.

Quick description

'Bath's most nicely situated hotel, by the River Avon with fair terraces & fine views over the countryside'. The Old Mill is situated on a place that housed a flour mill till 1907. Since then it has been developed into an adorable hotel with gorgeous bedrooms, all en room, banqueting rooms and a delectable restaurant by the river with a peculiar waterwheel feature. The banqueting suites, restaurant and pubs have lovely views of the River Avon and the fantastic countryside nearby it. The picture is completed by the good hotel terraces, alongside the river, which is notorious with rowers, boating enthusiasts and for fishing weekends. The contemporary proprietors, 2 extremely trained hoteliers and restaurateurs acquired The Old Mill in April 1998. Since then they have completed an immense renewal program, resulting in all bedrooms, banqueting suites and the cafe and restaurant, being entirely redecorated and renovated. Please take into consideration that the hotel has no elevator.
