It is located in the heart of England, about halfway between Liverpool and London. The first mentions about this city date back to the beginning of the XI century. With time from a tiny Anglo-Saxon farming village it turned into a major industrial and commercial city of England. Nowadays it is a city of mixed lifestyles, cultures and beliefs and is a popular place to set up a business. The population of Birmingham is more than one million people. Also, people from Birmingham are known as 'Brummies', this term was derived from the city's nickname of Brum.
