Hunters Meet Hotel & Leisure Centre

Since 1990 we have established a hotel, restaurant & relaxation heart that has become completely unrivalled in the region. The guesthouse wing was completed in May 1997. All the apartments have en-suite amenities. Some have four-poster beds, the prestige apartments have Corona beds, and surely we have standard double/twin apartments. There is also a 'family suite' of 2 adjoining suites which able to also be used for mini- meetings or the small, unofficial conferences. The suites are beautifyed to a high standard using Victorian pine furniture and are enriched in muted pastel shades, to complement the state feel of the guesthouse. Facilities of making tea/coffee are offered and all rooms in the hotel have tv, radio and straight dial telephones. The use of hairdryers, ironing amenities and a washhouse facilities is also accessible (usually overnight). We also have a wholly furnished recreation heart the whole with heated inner pool, fitness centre, sauna and steam suite.

This is free of charge for hotel customers to use whilst they staying with us. Our premises is the perfect venue for the small to medium-sized gatherings. Our professional team of personnel are on hand to ensure your day goes off without a hitch. Our restaurant which able to be set up for boardroom, cinema or informal-style conferences, seats up to 80 delegates. Furthermore, we also have the small conference rooms which able to be used for up to 6 delegates and are perfect for interviews, unofficial directors' conferences etc. As a restaurant we have a number of added advantages. The 1st involves solitude - unlike most purpose-built conference centres, which may have numerous functions running simultaneously, we provide peace, tranquil and absolute discretion. Our personnel are accessible all day for the conference, unlike other hotels who transfer them to other duties as shortly as your delegates sit down.

Travel information

By rail: The guesthouse is about fourty minutes from London Liverpool Street. Take the Stansted or Cambridge train to Bishop's Stortford and then a ten minutes cab ride. By AIR: Stansted International Airport is directly seven miles away. By ROAD FROM THE SOUTH: Take the M11 and exit at combination seven (Harlow). Take the 2nd exit (A414) into Harlow and go direct across the 1st 3 roundabouts. Turn directly at the fourth, following signs to the B183 Hatfield Heath (approx five miles). When you reach the Heath, turn left and then turn right onto the A1060. We are approximately 300 meters on the left, overlooking the Heath itself. By ROAD FROM THE NORTH: Take second exit from combination 8 of the M11 towards Great Dunmow (A120). Continue for about two miles to the 1st major set of traffic lights at Takely. Look for the Four Ashes Pub on your left. Turn right here, signposted B183 to Hatfield Heath (5 miles). When you get to Hatfield Heath, turn left and the Hunters Meet is the 1st building on the left, overlooking the Heath.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Whether cancelled later or in case of no-show, the 1st night will be charged. Kids and Extra Bed Policy: All kids are welcome. All kids under four years staying free when using existing bedding. All kids under two years staying free for cots. All older kids or groun-ups are charged GBP 25. 00 per night and individual for supplementary beds. Maximum holding capacity of supplementary beds in a suite is 1. Maximum holding capacity of babycots in a apartment is two. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. Vat and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Facilities charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet connection: Wireless internet connection is obtainable in the guesthouse apartments and is free. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the apartment rate. Car parking: Free social car parking is available on place. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The inn reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
