About Cambridge, UK

The city of Cambridge has a worldwide fame of being a university town and the administrative centre of the county of Cambridgeshire, England.

It lies in about 80 km north from London. Apart from being education center it is the heart of the high-technology centre also known as Silicon Fen. Cambridge is a wonderful choice for a city break and is one of the most visited cities of Britain. There are a wide variety of attractions for tourists to enjoy, from leisure and sport to culture and arts. Of course Cambridge is best known for the University of Cambridge. Apart from the great number of colleges, dating from the early 1200s to mid 1900s, the University has many other beautiful and historic buildings. Cambridge has architectural marvels which will suit all tastes from the magnificent grandeur of Senate House and the Greco-Roman face of the Fitzwilliam Museum to the modern colors of the Judge Institute and glass chapel at Fitzwilliam College.
