Cardiff is also considered as the centre for business, education, sport, tourism, culture, media and government in Wales. Cardiff Castle is one of the main attractions of the Cardiff. It is located in the heart of the city centre, not far from the main shopping area of Queen Street and St. Mary's Street. One of the landmarks of Cardiff city center is the domed roof of City Hall which is built of beautiful white Portland stone, and inside of it you will find statues of Welsh heroes. City Hall is located next to the National Museum & Gallery. Another place of interest is The National History Museum at St Fagans in Cardiff. It is a large open air museum which houses dozens of buildings from throughout Welsh history that have been moved to the site in Cardiff. Other venues which are popular for sporting events and concerts include St David's Hall, Cardiff International Arena and the Millennium Stadium.
