By Car: From the M4: - Take mix 32, and then follow signs to the downtown on the A470. - Stay on the A470 for about seven miles (11. three km). - You will pass over a flyover and go through several traffic lights. - When you enter the downtown you'll see civic center buildings on your left and the palace will be on your right. - Once you pass the civic building and Hilton Hotel on your left, the highway will bend to the left. - Follow this highway around past the entrance hall of the palace and via the traffic lights. - Get into the left-hand lane before the second set of traffic lights on this highway. (The Angel Hotel will be on your left. ) - Take an urgent left at the traffic lights onto Westgate Street. - The Millennium Stadium should now be visible on your right-hand side and you'll pass an NCP parking on your left. - Follow this highway till it curves to the right, at which point you need to go direct on. - Immediately on your right (past the bend) you'll see Edwards Bar; the entrance hall to The Royal Hotel is on the left of this brasserie. From Central Train Station (approximately 0. 6 km/ 0. three miles): Exit the railway station at the facade. When you exit the railway station the bus station will be directly opposite you. You'll need to follow the highway to the right of the station (for about 100 yards), past the cab rank and NCP parking. Once you reach the traffic lights, turn left onto St Mary Street. The Royal Hotel is around 300 yards on your left. Follow this highway for one block and you'll get to traffic lights on the combination to Wood Street. The Royal Hotel is just opposite above O'Neils Pub. You'll need to cross the highway and pass the pub called Edwards to get to the entrance hall on your left-hand side, calm situated on St Mary Street.
