Area information

Cardiff is a bright town with historic buildings, a palace, theatres, the world renowned Millennium Stadium and night life. The town is often referred to as the party capital of the UK. For shoppers, the Victorian arcades are filled with enchanting butiques and shops while the major shopping complexes brag all the usual high st names in larger than average size shops. Spend an evening in some of Wales' best restaurants situated in the town or in the vivid Cardiff Bay, then go on to party the night away within the picturesque bars and clubs of the bubbling gay scene. It’s unfair to mention any particular one, but it's fair to point out that The Golden Cross, a listed conventional pub, was voted one of the best gay pub in the UK and was the most high rated pub in the "2005 upper 100 places in Cardiff to visit. " Check out the opulent tiles around the brasserie. In the center of the town you'll find Cardiff Castle. Just a short ride from the very heart of the capital will take you to the fairytale Castle Coch and the leaning citadel at Caerphilly Castle, which brags a greater angle of lean than the known Leaning Tower of Pisa.
