About Dun Laoghaire, UK
Dun Laoghaire is a city on the Irish Sea between Dublin and Bray in County Dublin.
Its name derives from King Laoghaire, an antique High King of Ireland before the arrival of the Vikings. The English name was Dunlary or Dunleary. It was renamed Kingstown to honor George IV of England on his visit in 1821 and retained that name till 1921 when it was renamed again.
