Durham is a small city and the main settlement of the City of Durham district of County Durham, England.

According to the archeological evidences, a history of settlement at Durham starts around 2000 BC! That is why it has many wonderful things to show you even the whole center of Durham is designated as the conservation area. Norman Cathedral and Castle are the most famous Durham attractions, but apart from them Durham has over 600 listed buildings which are located within the city conservation area, and among the most outstanding are Durham Castle, Durham Cathedral, Chorister School, Crook Hall, Framwellgate Bridge, Kepier Hospital, Elvet Bridge, Kingsgate Bridge, Prebends Bridge, St Giles Church, Gilesgate, Church of St Margaret of Antioch, Crossgate, Church of St Mary-le-Bow (now Durham Heritage Centre), St. John's College Chapel, formerly the Church of St Mary the Less, Railway viaduct, North Road and many other.
