About Edinburgh Castle, UK
Edinburgh Castle is the one of the most famous castles in Scotland and in the UK and is proudly located on the top of glorious Edinburgh rock. It served as the center of ancient settlement and the city started to grow outwards from the castle rock. The visitor to the Castle will see magnificent panoramas which surround the Castle. If look to the north you can see the mountains of The Kingdom of Fife and below you will see famous Princes Street Gardens. In the castle you have unique opportunity to see the Stone of Destiny, the Honours (Crown Jewels) of Scotland, the famous gun Mons Meg of 15th century and the National War Museum of Scotland. There are wonderful guided tours provided by the castle stewards, and in addition there is an audio guide tour which is available in eight languages.
