Lincoln is a cathedral city in Lincolnshire, England.
Nowadays the city is a tourist centre. Here you will find the Cathedral of course and also the Castle. Other attractions include the Museum of Lincolnshire Life and Sir Joseph Banks Conservatory at The Lawn adjacent to Lincoln Castle. Not far from Castle peaceful Whisby Nature Reserve and Hartsholme Park found their place. Among other Lincoln attractions we can list annual Christmas Market in and around the Castle grounds which is usually held during the second weekend of December. The Guildhall and The Medieval Bishop's Palace are worthy of being visited too. Both of them are very old, even the Guildhall’s Mote Bell itself dates back to 1371 and is still in use. Lincoln is admired by visitors of all ages and is a wonderful place for a weekend break or family days out.
