Room information

The lodging consists 111 visitor suites and 12 deluxe apartments. Whichever suite you choose, you are sure to like the amicable and excellent service that the guesthouse is illustrious for. Recently refurbished and upgraded, the suites are a mixture of classic English and existent city cottage styles. All are connected to the guesthouse by a confidential corridor. Whether your booking is for three to four persons sharing, you'll need to book an room which retains a queen-size sofa bed in the hall. This will incur an additional charge.

By Public Transport From surrounding Green Park Underground station, it's five stops to the downtown, 6 stops to Liverpool Street and the Broadgate Centre and 1 stop to Victoria Station, for a frequent rail shuttle to Gatwick. There is a straight facilities to Heathrow Airport. From Green Park Station: - Walk out onto Piccadilly and turn left.

With a timeless panorama of Green Park, this personally owned hotel on Piccadilly has a glamorous and current absolutely new look that is quintessentially English, but distinctly up-to-date. Amenities include a well appointed health spa and hair salon, Damask restaurant serving essentially English cuisine, and the Whisky Room which brags a choice of over 250 malts. Siesta tea in the Garden Room is also a must. As well as the 123 bedrooms, the Athenaeum Apartments are housed in a row of Edwardian city houses next to the inn, and are much loved for their solitude by celebrities, work travelers and families. These well-appointed, imposing rooms have privately-owned avenue entrances, fully furnished kitchenettes and use of all the comforts and services of the guesthouse.

Important information

Athenaeum will be undergoing a redesign of their rooms and bedrooms from September through to the midst of December. There will be minimal disruption to our dear guests, and during this time the restaurant, hall, brasserie and Spa will be unaffected. The fitness centre is also being updated and modernised with absolutely new equipping. This will mean that it will be closed from the 12th – 25th September.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Whether cancelled later or in case of no-show, the 1st night will be charged. Kids and Extra Bed Policy: All kids are welcome. All kids under two years staying free when using existing bedding. All kids under two years staying free for cots. Maximum holding capacity of supplementary beds/babycots in a apartment is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. Vat and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Amenities charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet connection: Wireless internet connection is obtainable in the whole hotel and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 22. 00 for a person. Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 27. 00 for a person.
