About Londonderry, UK

Derry (also known as Londonderry) is a city in Northern Ireland on the west bank of the River Foyle.

The city district also extends to rural areas to the southeast of the city. Derry has the most complete series of city walls in the islands because they have never been breached. When you enter this city you will at once understand that it differs from other Irish cities because of it distinct architectural style. There are many sites of interest and museums in and around the city, including the Saint Columbs Cathedral, which was built in 1633, Harbour Museum, The Fifth Province, The City Walls Of Derry, Foyle Valley Railway Centre, the Amelia Earhart Centre And Wildlife Sanctuary, the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall, Derry Craft Village, O'Doherty Tower, the Guildhall, St Eugene's Cathedral, Creggan Country Park, The Millennium Forum and the Foyle and Craigavon bridges. And this is not a full list of Derry attractions, because it has a long and turbulent history.
