The inn has a superb dockside peaceful location, and is within a short distance of the downtown for shopping, the soccer and the opulent Lowry Centre. The Lowry Centre brags exhibition space for modern art and the works of LS Lowry, and in addition has two major theatres and studio space presenting a full variety of drama, opera house, ballet, dance, musicals, kids' shows, popular music, jazz, folk and comedy. The Centre also properties outlet and gift boutiques, restaurants, fitness amenities and a theatre. The Imperial War Museum North is also surrounding in Trafford Park beside the Manchester Ship Canal. For training fans, there is the world-popular Manchester United Football Club and the Lancashire County Cricket Club - perhaps better known as Old Trafford. By Car From the West (M62): - Stay direct ahead at combination 12, where the highway becomes the M602. - At combination three of the M602, follow the A5063 (Salford Quays) onto Trafford Road. - Follow this highway till you see Tesco Metro on the left-hand side. - Go direct on at the traffic lights and take the following left for the guesthouse parking. From the East (M62): - Take fusion 12 from the M60 which becomes the M602 (signposted to Salford). - At fusion three of the M602, follow the A5063 Salford Quays onto Trafford Road. - Follow as above. From North M6/South M6: - Stay on the M6 till you get to combination 21a for the M62 Manchester. Then follow the above directions from M62 West From South M56: - Follow signs for the A5103 Manchester. - At combination five of the M60 (this is the end of the M56) follow signs for Stretford and continue on the M60 till you get to the turn-off for the M602 at combination 12. - Then follow the above directions for the A5063. From the center of the city: - Follow signs for A56 Chester. This will take you onto Deansgate and lead you onto Chester Road. - Signs will say Old Trafford Cricket Ground/Trafford Park/Salford A5063. - Continue on the A56 till you get to White City Retail Park. Then follow signs for A5063 Salford, till you have crossed the iron bridge. - The hotel lies on the right-hand side. To reach the inn you need to produce a U-turn at the 3rd traffic light after the iron bridge. By Metrolink Tram From Piccadilly station: The Metro link able to be found in Piccadilly station. Catch any tram that has Eccles as its final destination. The inn is in front of the Salford Quay Metro (8th stop from Piccadilly Station). Travel time is approximately 20 mins.
