Oldham is a town in Greater Manchester, seven miles northeast of Manchester.

Its town hall, art gallery, museum, and park are of interest, but it is chiefly a modern industrial town. Winston Churchill represented Oldham in Parliament.Oldham is on the edge of the Pennine Mountains near the source of the River Medlock.
