About Windsor Castle, UK

Windsor Castle is located in the English county of Berkshire, and is the largest inhabited castle in the world.
It is an official residence of The Queen as well as Buckingham Palace in London and Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. A Royal home, official palace, fortress and sometimes a prison for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today. There are plenty of things to see in the Windsor Castle. The rooms here are royal indeed, take for example Semi State rooms which are embellished with paintings by Rubens, Holbein, decorated by fine tapestries and sculpture, porcelain and armor. Within the Castle complex there are many other attractions such as Queen Mary's dolls' house, the Drawings Gallery, St. George's Chapel.
