Windsor Castle, oldest of the Queen's four principle homes, was 1st built for William the Conqueror in 1070 but extensively re-equipped for Queen Victoria. The country suites are sumptuously outfitted and St George's Chapel, where ten monarchs are buried, is an excellent sample of late 15th century architecture. Kids love Queen Mary's doll's cottage and its everyday items miniaturised in meticulous detail. The city itself, situated to the west of the palace walls, holds a Georgian character. The Savill Garden embedded in Windsor Great Park, is splendid in early summer months when the rhododendrons are in flower. A footbridge across the Thames connects Windsor with Eton and its well-known school, and downstream is the meadow at Runnymede, where King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to two days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Whether cancelled later or in case of no-show, the entire price of the reservation will be charged. Kids and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the inn. All kids under two years staying free for cots. There is no holding capacity for additional beds in the suite. Maximum holding capacity of babycots in a suite is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. Vat and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Facilities charge is included.
